During Ramadan, I was inspired to start ajrumiyyaah and learning classical Arabic.

From a few brothers who have studied overseas and some online research, the first step is to study grammar seems to be from studying and memorizing the Ajrumiyyah poem and likewise the Binaa al Af’al poem for sarf. Unfortunately I come from a small town and there aren’t any teachers here who can teach it in English to me. Jazakum Allahu Khair for the advice: I didn’t know what an Awamil was, but it seems like the ones I ajrumuyyah online are in Urdu I think: I don’t speak Urdu unfortunately, and I would really appreciate it if you could link me one in Ajrmiyyah or Arabic: And Akhi I’ve asked everyone I ajtumiyyah but there don’t seem to be any teachers around here.

Our Masjid doesn’t have an Imam. It’s quite a small town. You’re absolutely right that nothing beats the way it was done classically, but I’ve got to work with what I’ve got lol.

Are there online resources you know about specifically for classical Arabic? It’s mostly for me to be able to understand Ajru, iyyah books outside of the Qur’an and the Ahadith. I don’t enjoy translations of these texts lol. Use of this site constitutes acceptance of our User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
