The pond
The pond dates from 1967, on Racovet River, in the North part of the village. It has almost a km till the village. It has a surface of 100,76 ha. This pond is a picturesque place witch has beautiful trees where are resting citizen from Tirova and the district Edinet and Briceni. In the North part of the pond are 2 islands with a surface of 35 m2.
Formerly on the pond’s bank was “Tabara Pionereasca” where were resting children from different places of Moldova. This holiday camp disposed of 120 places. In the present this holiday camp doesn’t work because the mayor doesn’t have necessary funds for the renovation and maintaining in the good state.
See-gulls, wild ducks and swans round the pond. In the water there are different spaces of fishes like carps, crucians, pikes.
The forest
The forest is located from 1.5 km from the village. It is situated in the West part of the village. The forest has a surface of 300 ha, it has different types of trees: wild cherry, ash tree, acacia, hornbeam, elm and different medicinal plants.
There are living different spaces of animals like wild boar and deer. In
the forest there are many interesting where the citizen can rest.
